Today’s Fortune: Get ready! Good fortune comes in bunches.

Boy, Confucious is sure right about that! Another package arrived yesterday. This one was from our friend 8ntfrogn. She is my Auntie Karen, and she lives in California where all the happy cows are. When I opened the box, it was my friend Praline Frogmouth!! She has never been to visit me before, but she has been wanting to come here for a long time. She decided to come for my birthday party! She brought her knitted doll with her, so she would not have to travel alone.

Praline is very cute. She is hand-knitted, just like Guy and Sister Mary, but she is made from a different pattern. Calvin Klein has a big crush on her.  He  is usually very cool and does not act like he is very interested in stuff that goes on around here.  Mom says he is “aloof.”  We think he used to be in a gang, and that is probably why. But he is acting very silly about Praline. He even gave her a whole box of Cheese Nips.  It is not like him to share his snacks, so I think he must be in love.

I am so glad Praline came for my birthday celebration!  I am also glad she has had a positive effect on Calvin Klein.   My party will be later this week.  I was hoping to have it at Big Truck Tacos, but Mom says that I have too many guests.  So far, there are seven coming.

I don’t think seven monkeys is too many, but Mom might be right.  We don’t want to wear out our welcome at Big Truck Tacos.   I will have to take my friends there one at a time.  That’s actually a better idea, anyway, because it means I will get to go there a bunch!
