The best present ever!!!

Boy, was Confucious ever right about that!! I got a package on Monday. Mom said it was for me, so I got out the scissors and cut it open.

It was a birthday present from our friends Manitoba2ct and TwistedCT! They are my Auntie Brenda and Uncle Don, and they live in Connecticut with my darling Dharma. (That is why they have “CT” in their names.)
I was very excited to open the box! There was a box of Converse shoes, a card with a monkey sticker, and two presents wrapped in Hot Wheels paper! Auntie Brenda also sent me a special bib to wear at Big Truck Tacos, but she accidentally sent Dharma’s bib, too.

I was so excited about opening my Hot Wheels presents! But Mom said I had to wait until my party to open them. I was not very happy about that.

She said I could go ahead and open the Converse box, though. I wasn’t very excited about that, because shoes are not very fun. I am sure glad I did, though, because when I opened the box, Dharma was inside it!!

She brought Walter with her, too!! I was so glad to see them! She was glad to see me, too, because she nearly squeezed the stuffing out of me!

When Dad got home, we went to Big Truck Tacos for dinner. Puglet wanted to go, but I told him he needed to stay home and do dog stuff with Walter. He did not need to come on a date with me and Dharma.
Dharma had never been to Big Truck Tacos, because we have the only one here in Oklahoma City. She is hoping they might consider opening one in Connecticut, because she loves it as much as I do! The first thing we had was some of Dad’s chips and guacamole. It was tasty, just like always!

We also had something called “Ceviche”. That is fish and shrimp, and onions and peppers and avocadoes with lime juice and cilantro. It comes with pita chips and regular chips, too. It is delicious, and we ate every bite!

We had the Okie Baja taco, which has fish and jicama slaw. We also had the 5th Amendment taco. We are not sure what was in the 5th Amendment on Friday, but it was sure good! And messy, too. Auntie Brenda was awfully smart sending us those bibs.

After our dinner, we went to Cuppies and Joe to get dessert, but it was pretty crowded and Dad had to get up early to go to Tulsa on Saturday, so we just got our cupcake to go.
We chose a Sassafrass cupcake. That is the one with the red velvet cake and the buttercream frosting. It was very romantic holding hands with Dharma while we ate our cupcake.

I can’t believe Dharma got to come for my birthday! I hope she gets to stay a while, so we can do all kinds of fun stuff!
I am not sure what is in those Hot Wheels packages, but I don’t think it could possibly be as good as what was in the Converse box. Dharma is the best present ever!
