A bit about me….

I’m Noah.  I’m a SBSM (single brown sock monkey) sock monkey.  I have a beautiful girlfriend named Dharma, and you can read all about her here.
I like visiting new places, meeting new friends, and telling everybody all about my great adventures on this cool blog that my dad set up for me.

The family that adopted me is a little wacky, but I love them anyway.
The house is full of sock monkeys, yarn, cats, cameras and slide rules, and I’m getting accustomed to the strangeness of it all.
My mom loves to knit and crochet, and hangs out a lot on a site called ravelry, where she’s met a bunch of amazing people.

She will probably blog about her projects from time to time, but she’s promised to not bore everyone to death with them.
After all, this site is all about me, and my place here in the Yarniverse…

I met you at Children’s Hospital a couple of weeks ago.
I saw a “sock monkey” dog bed at the Walgreens at
Penn and Britton Road yesterday. I thought of you!
    It is very cute!

    Hi, Marsha!!

I will definitely have to look at those sock monkey dog beds. Maybe my cats could use one. We are taking very good care of Candy Stripe (the monkey you gave us.) She likes it here a lot. She has fit right in with our monkey family.

    Hi, Wayne!!

I will try to come in to Walgreens and see you and all the cool sock monkey stuff! Mom is going to go to the yarn store tomorrow. I will see if she will bring me by! Mom says I cannot have a cat bed, though. We bought our cats some cat beds before, and they will not sleep in them.

    Aaaagghhh!!!!

I wrote to you about 3 weeks ago telling you that the authors of “Sock Monkey Dreams” would be doing a book signing @Mast General Store in Asheville on May 21. That was the wrong date. If you are planning on attending this event, that would be great! However, the REAL date is May 29. As I am finding it more difficult to negotiate your comment section, would you mind responding to me this time @my e-mail address: celticones@charter.net?

    Love,

    Hi, LaVerna!

We will not be able to make it for the book signing, but we will see you at the end of June!

    Noah,
I sure did enjoy meeting you! Be sure to tell mom come back anytime she needs a ‘farm fix.’ What a great write up. I’ve been looking into ravelry and the yarn store in Norman. I sure do have a lot to learn! Remember, we can always ‘agist’ your favorite alpaca for you!
