Spiderman vs. Hello Kitty…..
Today’s Fortune: You will be thankful for the pleasures of the coming months.
I’m sure that is true. There is lots of fun on the way with everybody who will be visiting here, and I am sure that I will be thankful for all the good fun.
Me and Dharma are having a great time! My mom got us something called “Activity Books”. These are books that have puzzles and games and pictures to color. Mine is The Amazing Spiderman. He is the same guy as one of my pezzes, and he is also the guy that my lunchbox is about. My book has over 50 stickers! I can put them in the book, or on other stuff, but Mom says I cannot put them on the furniture. Too bad. I think an Amazing Spiderman coffee table would be very cool.
Dharma got a Hello Kitty activity book. This looks a lot like the same Hello Kitty I got in trouble for hugging, so I am not crazy about Dharma’s book, but she really likes it. Hers is very girly, with a pull-out poster, something called a “growth chart” and she has over 50 stickers, too! Mom has also told us we cannot put our stickers on the cats. Cats do not like stickers, even if they are Hello Kitty stickers.
Walter is not too sure if he likes the Hello Kitty activity book. I told him he could do Amazing Spiderman activities with me, instead. We are taking them with us tonight. We are going out to dinner with my Uncle Phil and Aunt Karon. We are packed and ready to go.
We have figured out that it is good to be prepared, in case we go someplace boring. My tote bag has crayons, pezzes and pez pictures, and Dharma likes to take Walter, so I take Bookmonkey. Now we have activity books, too.
Mom has decided to give us our own tote bag. That’s good, because we are tired of being crammed down in her big purse. We will try to behave with our stickers and crayons and stuff.
I personally think The Amazing Spiderman is much better than Hello Kitty. And my activities are much more interesting than the ones in Dharma’s book, but I will just keep that information to myself. She still has my bowling shirt. I’d hate to lose my activity book, too.
Today’s Vocabulary Words: Activity book, growth chart

Noah,
I hope you had fun at dinner. We’ve got a lot of Hello Kitty stuff around here. Laura used to collect when she was a kid.
Take care,

We know how much you love Hello Kitty – we found a special present for you today, and we are saving it for when you get to our house. It is not David Hasselhoff…..we are still working on that one. Love, Noah
