I am on my guard…..
Today’s Fortune: A thrilling time ahead, be on your guard.
That is a strange fortune. A thrilling time sounds good, but I’m not sure why I need to be on my guard about that. The guy who writes fortunes must be having a crummy day.
Me and Dharma did not have a crummy day – ours was great! We had so much fun I almost forgot to blog today. I am really enjoying having her visiting us, and we may be getting another monkey friend soon. We will know more about that in a couple of days.
Mom and Dad went to something called a “Neighborhood Watch” meeting tonight. It is where people in the neighborhood get together to meet each other and keep an eye on each others houses. We live in a pretty safe neighborhood, but this is a very good idea, because it helps keep it that way. Me and Dharma did not get to go. Mom said she thought it was just for grownups. Too bad. We could keep a good eye on things. Especially Bleach and Jimbo. They are the ones who keep an eye on me and Dharma.
We took advantage of the fact that Mom and Dad were gone, and decided to eat the last of the Fun Club cookies. We had a hard time getting at them, because the tin is very tall.
Mom brought us home some Spongebob Squarepants Gummy Krabby Patties. They are like little squishy hamburgers, but they don’t taste like hamburgers. They taste like candy. We ate those, too.
She also got us a great big book of Lisa Frank stickers. We are using those for Dharma’s passport, because we do not have a stamp. Everytime we do a fun thing, we write it down in Dharma’s passport, and she gets another sticker. It says there are over 1,200 stickers in the book. I hope we don’t run out.
I’ve been thinking about my fortune, and I think maybe I just need to be on my guard so I don’t miss a thrilling time. Mom says that is being “vigilant.” Vigilance is paying attention to something. Maybe I should start a “Thrilling Time” group. That would be a lot more fun than neighborhood watching.
Today’s Vocabulary Words: Neighborhood Watch, vigilant

Noah,
Did you and Dharma wake up with belly aches this morning from all those goodies? I hope you DO run out of stickers because that means you’ve done more than 1200 fun things. That’s more than most humans could ever dream of.
Take care,
Big Monkey

Hi, Big Monkey!
I did not get a tummy ache, but Dharma did. We will have to back off on having so many goodies. Love, Noah
