Ready for Tractor Travels!!
Today’s Fortune: Your curious nature will take you someplace special.
Wow! This fortune was right on the money! Yesterday, my curious nature (and my Mom) took us to Wal-Mart. We had to get my brother’s oil changed in his car. He is letting us drive it to Ashevegas, which is where my curious nature will take us tomorrow. That way, we don’t have to go all the way back to the airport to rent a car. That will save us lots of time. His car is fun to ride in, but it is a long way to Ashevegas. I think it will not be as exciting as our airplane rides were.
We had to spend a long time in Wal-Mart, which made me so happy! I heart Wal-Mart! Mom did not look like she was having a very good time, because we didn’t really need to buy anything, and it took an hour to get the oil changed. We wandered around for quite a while, and found the best thing ever!! John Deere Tractor snacks!! See why I heart Wal-Mart?
We are enjoying our trip, but from a monkey fun perspective, it has been kind of boring so far. I really love my brother, but he is at work all day, so Mom just visits with Adrienne. She is my brother’s wife, which is called a “Sister-In-Law”. She is very cute and sweet, and she will be having a baby in October. It will be our second grandbaby. Our first grandbaby, Lily, lives in Omaha with my oldest brother and sister-in-law. We will be going to see them in a couple of weeks.
Mom started a blanket for the new baby yesterday, and has spent most of her time working on it since. She finished it this morning. It is very soft. She made it out of Muench Big Baby yarn, which we picked out several weeks ago. It is aqua and yellow, because we don’t know yet if this baby is a boy or a girl. Mom let me test out the new blanket. It is pretty good, but I don’t like it as much as my John Deere Tractor blanket. I think a baby should like it just fine, though.
Tomorrow is the big day! That is when we get to drive to Ashevegas and meet the Tractor Girls! We have special surprises for each one of them, and we have a super-secret-sock monkey mission to take care of before we meet up with them tomorrow afternoon! I will get to meet lots of new sock monkeys tomorrow, and I will get to see ValenTina again, too. Sassy will be going home with Lindsey, who is the next TSM hostess on our list. That will save postage, and Sassy won’t have to be all crammed into a box to travel by Priority Mail.
I will miss Sassy. She has been fun to have around. We will be without a visiting monkey at least until we return home. I hope Sister Mary Monkeypants makes it to our house soon.
The very very very best part of all is, I get to see my darling Dharma again tomorrow!!! I can hardly wait! I think I will wear my new pirate eyepatch and see if she recognizes me.

Have fun in AsheVegas Noah and say goodbye to Sassy for me. I’ve got another photo of you sitting on some barrels at the arts festival. It’s at http://www.flickr.com/photos/uberj/3658201127/ if you’d like to see it.
Big Monkey
Noah,
I can’t wait to hear more about your super secret sock monkey mission! It is so cool that you will be meeting up with friends tomorrow. I think Dharma will recognize her true love, even if he’s wearing an eyepatch. 😉
Take care,
Big Monkey

Oh Noah, it sounds like the trip to Ashevegas will be so much fun. Just remember, (I know how polite you are) do not ignore the other monkeys and spend all your time with Dharma. There will be plenty of time for the two of you to canoodle. Make sure Mom takes lots of pictures so we can share in the adventure.

Hi, Auntie Pam!
We will definitely get lots of pictures, and we will share them with the YA Girls and the Tractor girls. I will not ignore the other monkeys (except maybe ValenTina).

Hi, Big Monkey!
I sure wish you were going with us! I think our friends would really like meeting you, and the secret mission would be even more fun if you were along.
Love, Noah
P.S. Sassy says to tell you “Hi.” She wants to know if you are over Hoda yet…..
Noah
Hi, Dad!!
Wow! You are posting on my blog! That is really cool! I like that picture of me with the barrels. I look good in black and white. My favorite is the one of Leroy and Joe Jack, though.
You have a bunch of new photos! You seem to get a lot more done when me and Mom are not at home. Mom says we are a “distraction”. I will have to look that up.
We are having lots of fun, but I miss you and can’t wait until we get home!

Hello, Noah!
All of us at Mast General Store in Asheville really enjoyed your visit. I must say you and your companion looked very stylish. Your female companion looks like she is really an Ashevillian. I do hope you saw our BIG sock monkey. He was in a hammock chair downstairs. Sometimes he and some of the other sock monkeys are very naughty at night after all the employees go home. They run over and get into the candy barrels and mix all the candy up. At first the employees were mystified, but then our oldest employee figured out what was happening. We hope to see you again soon, especially if you did not get to see the BIG sock monkey and the sock monkey keychains.
Your newest friend,
LaVerna

Was that great or what, Noah! Im so glad I finally met you in person, although I forgot to get your pawograph in all the excitement. Dharma says hi and to tell you she has met a “nunderwoman”. love you! Pugger
Noah
Hi, Pugger!!
I had the best time ever!! Nobody has ever asked for my pawograph, though. I don’t think I have one. I am very glad Dharma is visiting your house right now, and that she has Nunderwoman to look after her. I hope I get to come visit you again soon! Love, Noah

Hi, LaVerna!!
I loved getting to visit Mast General Store!! I have not had a chance to blog about it yet, because we have been busy getting home and catching up. Mom only lets me blog when she doesn’t need her computer, which seems like it doesn’t happen much. I did see that BIG monkey in his hammock, but we forgot to go downstairs and get my picture with him. I was wondering how he could sleep with so many people in the store, but he is probably tired from all that monkey business he takes care of in the middle of the night. It sounds like he has a very busy and important job.
I can’t wait to tell all my blog friends about Mast!! Mom says she is finally caught up with stuff, so I will hopefully get to blog a lot over the next few days. Which is good, because it will take me a lot of days to tell about my trip. I never knew that Ashevegas was such an exciting place!
Love, Noah
