I Have a Whisker!!!
Today’s Fortune: Time heals all wounds. Keep your chin up.
That was a timely fortune. I was very excited about keeping my chin up a few days ago when I noticed that I had a whisker!
I have been noticing it for a while. It has been getting longer. You can see it really good if you look close.
I was so happy about having a whisker! I got out Dad’s shaving stuff and waited for him to come home so he could show me how to shave.
Then Mom told me that was not a whisker, it was a “lip snag”. She says if I shave it, my whole face might unravel. She said she would fix it with a tiny crochet hook, which doesn’t sound nearly as cool as shaving.
Having a whisker is cool. Having a lip snag is just embarrassing. I’m hoping my fortune is right about time healing all wounds. But I think I’ll keep my chin down until Mom has time to fix my face.

I think it makes you look very grown up.

Dear Noah,
If Mom uses a crochet hook, it will be akin to getting your lip pierced. That sure is better than having your face come unraveled, don’t you think? Even though I don’t like piercings, I would miss seeing your sweet face.

Hi Noah,
I have been a very busy monkey. Mom is trying to sew a monkey and she needs my help. She keeps asking me where she should put things. The ears seem to be the hardest. She want this monkey to be cute like me. She made me some dinosaur pajamas and they rock. I wear them all the time. She said she wants to make me a hammock, too. What’s a hammock?
Mom said I am way too young to shave. I need to be 30 before I can shave. I think that’s very, very old. I will probably be as old as Mom by then. Or maybe even Dad.

maybe it’s a fever blister and that is what made dad sick??????
Noah
I don’t know what made Dad sick, but I think Dad made Mom sick.

Hi, Chip!!
I saw your pajamas on Ravelry! Your Mom sews really well. Maybe she could make me a Hawaiian shirt? I’ve been asking my Mom, and she keeps promising, but she never gets around to it.

Hi, Auntie Pam!
You are right! Getting my lip pierced would be even cooler than shaving! You are so smart.
