A Word From Our Sponsor. . .
Today’s Fortune: You will be rewarded for a job well done.
I sure hope that fortune is true. I am also hoping that I don’t get fired from my Official Spokesmonkey duties. It has been two weeks since I was at L&B Yarn Co., and I am just now getting a chance to tell everyone about the cool new stuff I saw there there. My Dad was on vacation last week, and we spent so much time having fun, I did not even get a chance to blog. We did lots of great stuff, and I have lots to tell about, but first, I need to tell about the good stuff at the yarn shop, so I don’t lose my Spokesmonkey job!
My favorite new yarn is called Manos Maxima! It is very soft and warm. I asked Mom to buy me some to make me a sweater, but I don’t think she heard me.
They have 18 different colors of this yarn! There’s probably a color for everyone on your Christmas list, and it would make very nice scarves or hats. Or monkey sweaters. You should get some!
They also had some fun fuzzy yarn that has blobs of furry stuff in it. It is from Pagewood Farms, and it is called “U-Knitted Nations Fuzzy Purls.” We really like that name!
If you buy some of it, you can make a really cool vest or scarf like the one that is on display. They even have the pattern and kits for it, and it is one of the funnest yarns we have seen in a while!
And they had just received a new shipment of Colinette Jitterbug. There were fourteen new colors, and they were still in the box. It was so soft I had to roll around in it. Jitterbug makes great socks, and we’ve never seen so many colors! If somebody you know likes handknit socks, this is the stuff to get!
That is all for now. I will have more to report from L&B later. Me and Mom are headed back down to the shop in just a little while for the Tuesday Knit Night. Mom says she needs more yarn, which is hard to believe. Maybe she is planning to buy me that Manos Maxima for my sweater!

Oh I wish I was working again that day! Sorry I missed your visit. Isn’t that Maxima a dream? Just like butter but without the calories. 🙂 Hope to see you again at L&B soon (hopefully on a weekend)!
