This fortune has already come true! I got to discover all kinds of new frontiers when Mom let us go to Oklahoma City Girls Art School with her to get summer camp boxes ready!

We are super excited about camp this year! Since we are social distancing because of Coronavirus, Girls Art School summer camp will be “virtual.” That means that you can still have lots of awesome art camp fun and still stay safe! But the best part is, no matter where you live in the United States, you can get a camp box! You can do Summer with Frida, or you can do Summer Creativity in a Box, which is the one I chose!! Whether you are 8 or 80, boy or girl, you will love these boxes full of fun!! We are sending boxes to our grandkids in Texas and North Carolina. If any of my friends and aunties are looking for something fun to do this summer, this is it!

OKC GAS might be the best place in the universe! It is easy to see why Mom loves teaching here. There are more art supplies here than I’ve ever seen in my life!

I had a hard time keeping up with Puglet, though. He got lost several times, and I was worried he would be buried in an avalanche of pompoms and markers and scissors and stuff.

I got to see Miss Kiona again!! She is the best teacher ever and she is so much fun! As a bonus, she has a bunch of creepy skeletons. I do not know why, but they are awesome!!!

But the very best part of the day was when I got to meet Frida Kahlo!! Mom has been talking about Frida since last fall, because she has been helping teach the girls at OKC GAS about Frida’s art, her life and influences, and her impact as a female artist. I was a little afraid to meet her, because she is so famous, but she was happy to take a selfie with me and Puglet! I did think she would be taller, though.
