Fish Cheetos!!
Today’s Fortune: There are many opportunities that are being presented to you.
I am not so sure about that fortune. Because of coronavirus, I haven’t been able to go very many places. Mom says there are opportunities all around you – you just have to look for them. She is usually right, so I take a lot of opportunities to hang out in my backyard. It’s a pretty good yard with hedges and big trees to climb, and it’s a good place to just rest and think about stuff.
My favorite thing in the backyard is the pond. We have lots of fish and good water plants like Japanese iris and water lettuce that give the fish a place to hide from “predators.” Predators are things that like to eat fish. Like big birds. Or raccoons. Or tigers.
Mom bought a new lily this year, and it has nice pink flowers that we really like!
Mom takes pretty good pictures for my blog, but she admits Dad is a much better photographer than she is. He took this awesome picture of our new lily.
Mom got the new lily and the water lettuce at Garden Ponds Unlimited in Moore, Oklahoma. They have everything you need for a good pond and to keep your fishes happy and healthy.
Mom brought home a treat for the fishes this time. They got a great big jar of Aquascape Koi Krunchies! If you do not live near Oklahoma City, you can still order them from Amazon.
Koi Krunchies are things you hold in your fingers and the fishes will come up and eat right from your hand!!
And they really work!! The fishes love them! Watch this!
The Koi Krunchies get a little bit slippery and start to dissolve in the water before long, but the fishes will eat them anyway.
I told Mom that the Aquascape people should change the name to Fish Cheetos, because that is what they look like. Mom said that Cheetos are a “registered trademark” of the Frito Lay Company. That means you can’t just call stuff “Cheetos” without making the Cheetos people mad. I don’t want to do that, because I love Cheetos!
Plus, I tried one. They do not taste like Cheetos at all, but the fishes don’t seem to care.
