Today’s Fortune: There are many new opportunities that are being presented to you.

That is a very good fortune, and it is already coming true!! Mom ordered me an “Advent calendar,” and it got here last week. An Advent calendar is not a boring calendar with appointments and holidays. This is a big box full of surprises, and you get one surprise a day starting on December 1 all the way through Christmas Eve!!! I have been waiting to open it for days.

There are lots of different Advent calendars, but mine is full of awesome bugs!! The back of the box shows you all of the amazing bugs you will get, plus you can build two GIANT bugs out of all the pieces when you have made all your small bugs!!

This is my very first bug that came out of the Number 1 window. He is a lot bigger than I thought he would be, and he turned out awesome! I have named him Adam Ant.

I told mom he is lonely and he needs a bug friend now, but she says I have to wait until tomorrow to open another window. I waited a week to open the first one, so I guess I can wait a day between bugs. I’m ready for them to all be here, because then I can make a nativity scene with them. I might have to hold auditions for the buggy Jesus.
