Today’s Fortune: All you have is today – there is no such thing as yesterday or tomorrow.

That is a silly fortune, but I’m pretty sure that if there is only today, it’s a good thing today is Halloween!!! I got all kinds of awesome stuff for my Halloween presents. Mom made me a new pair of black pants and a Jack Skellington shirt! I also got glow-in-the dark slime and a super-smiley bat nightlight that changes from blue to purple to red. I also got some marshmallow and caramel chocolate pumpkins. But my favorite thing is a box of 24 Monster Mayhem coloring cards! They have monsters on front that I can color and on the back is a postcard, so I can mail some to my aunties for Christmas!

Puglet and I both got new costumes this year. I have been a vampire forever, so this year, I decided to be a chef. Mom made me a really good apron and hat. She says the chef costume is “versatile.” That means I can wear it when I experiment with new recipes in the kitchen. Puglet told me he is very tired of being a candy corn, so Mom got him a costume at Dollar Tree. It is a cat costume, and it is very good but Puglet does not like it. He said he would rather be a candy corn than wear a cat costume.

I really like my chef costume, but I didn’t think it was scary enough, so I had a great idea! I got my sticky teeth and my vampire cape. Now I am a celebrity chef vampire. Puglet is still a cat witch.

We are ready for trick or treaters! I hope we get lots of them this year so I don’t have to eat all those Zots. Especially since I would have to eat them today since there is no tomorrow.
