Today’s Fortune: You will receive praise for a job well done.

This fortune was spot on! Dharma suggested that we have a tea party today, because we were kind of bored. Mom spent all day sewing stuff for us to wear, so she did not take us anyplace fun. I thought the idea of a tea party sounded silly, but it was what Dharma wanted, so I decided to do it right.

Mom let me use her little teapot and dishes from one of her sushi sets. She also let me use some little cups that she uses for serving something called “sake.” They were just our size. We invited Calvin Klein, and Walter, too.  I was surprised that Calvin Klein agreed to come, because he doesn’t seem like the type to be interested in a tea party. I think he just came for the snacks.

We had fortune cookies, wasabi peas, and green tea.  It was really good.  I had never had green tea before.  Even Walter really liked it.

After our party, Dharma gave me another kiss on the cheek.  She said I did a great job with the party.  I was kind of surprised, because all I really did was eat some cookies and wasabi peas.

I had no idea that all you had to do to get kissed on the cheek was have a tea party.  I guess tea parties aren’t so bad after all.
