Dining with Dharma at the Northampton Brewery!
Today’s Fortune: You will soon gain something you have been wanting.
Well, I guess that fortune was true, because I have been wanting to see my darling Dharma for a while, and I got to spend a whole day with her! After we finished shopping at Webs, we all went to lunch together. We had to take two cars, because we couldn’t all fit into one.
We went to lunch at the Northampton Brewery Bar and Grille. A nice lady was walking by and offered to take our picture out in front. That’s Auntie Pam, Austin, Uncle Don, Auntie Brenda, Dharma, Me, Mom, Puglet and Auntie Kate in the picture. Dharma lives with Uncle Don, Auntie Brenda and Austin in Connecticut.
The Northampton Brewery was really good, so I am going to do another one of my famous Restaurant Reviews!!! The first thing we saw inside the restaurant was a guy making some beer. He was really nice and he even waved at me! He had on a funny looking mask. I think he was probably dressed up for Halloween.
Me and Dharma got to hold hands at our table. We even had candle light and everything! It was very romantic.
We ordered an avocado and grilled shrimp Caesar salad. It was absolutely delicious!
I had a very yummy soup called “Clam Chowdah.” It came with special little round crackers that were really tasty.
While I had the chowdah, Dharma tried a sip of something called a “beeah”.
I have figured out that people in New England talk kind of funny. Some of the ladies in the button and trim shop were talking about yawn. In Oklahoma, that is what we do when we are sleepy. In New England that is what you knit sweaters out of.
Austin shared his soda pop with me. It was a Freaky Dog Rooffbeer, which we thought was extra fun!
We were too full to try dessert, but I’ll bet it is really good, too.
Lunch was over way too quickly. I had to say goodbye once again to my darling Dharma. I was not as sad as last time, because I know we will see each other again soon. Auntie Brenda has promised that Dharma can come and visit us again!
I give the Northampton Brewery my highest five Twinkie rating! The food is delicious, and Dharma said the beeah was excellent. Plus, they get a bonus Cheeto for making our lunch such a romantic and memorable experience!
If your Mom makes you go shopping at Webs, be sure she takes you to the Northampton Brewery for lunch. And be sure to say “hi” to the guy in the mask!
Today’s Vocabulary Words: Chowdah, beeah

Big Monkey
Noah,
It’s awesome that you got to reunite with your sweetie Dharma. It looks like you had a yummy lunch too! I know those New Englanders talk funny, but it’s kind of fun. Did they say “wicked”, meaning “very”? Example: You and Dharma make a wicked cool couple. Was it wicked cold during your visit?
XOXO Big Monkey

Hi, Big Monkey!
It was wicked cold there, but I didn’t hear anybody say much about it. They mostly just left out “R”s where they should have been, and put them into places they didn’t belong. I guess maybe there’s a letter shortage in New England and they are trying to conserve.
Love, Noah
