Star Wars and Super Friends…..

Today’s Fortune: Your everlasting patience will be rewarded soon.

Well, that is some good news! I have been waiting and waiting for Dharma to get here. Hopefully, she will arrive this week. Until then, I will be everlastingly patient. I can’t wait to show her all of the good stuff I got at the flea market yesterday!

When I finally got it all out, I could not believe how much fun new stuff I had to play with! When you are buying stuff, you sometimes forget what you got until you get home with it. It was a lot to sort through.

I got a really cool lunchbox.  It has “The Amazing Spiderman” on it.  It looks brand new.  I will use it for storing some of my pezzes in when I am not using it to carry Twinkies and Cheetos and stuff.

I got ten pezzes, and I sorted them out into two groups.  The first group is called “Star Wars.”  It has a green guy with big ears named Yoda, a robot guy named R2-D2, and a brown hairy guy named Chewbacca.  Those seem like silly names, but that is what Mom says they are called.  Then there is a guy with a big black helmet named Darth Vader.  He is a thing called a “villain”.  A villain is a bad guy.   He is married to the girl with the green face and the orange hair.  Her name is Witch.  She is also a villain.

The second group of pezzes is called “Super Friends”.  There is a red guy who is The Amazing Spiderman.  He is the same guy that is on my lunchbox.  I also got a Batman.  He is the same guy I colored at Irma’s. There is a girl called Wonder Woman. She is married to Batman. They have a pet Ninja Turtle. They fight crime and protect the world from the Evil Sheep, who is not nearly as nice as she looks. She is a villain, too.

The pezzes came with candy, so now I have a big pile of candy in all kinds of flavors.  Mom says I cannot have it all at one time, because I will get sick.  The pezzes also came with papers that have pictures or puzzles.  I will take them with me for times when we go to boring restaurants where they do not give me a Batman to color.

I also got some really good blocks.  They are very old, and they are made out of wood.  They have pictures of all kinds of animals on them.  They are fun to stack up and knock down, and they will make a very good fort for the Super Friends to hide out in when they get attacked by the Star Wars guys.

I also got two books that are just my size, which makes them much easier to read than Mom’s books.  They are called “Tiny Tales,” and Mom says she remembers reading these when she was a very little girl.  They only cost a nickel each when they were new, but Mom had to pay a dollar for them.  That is because they are vintage.

One of the books is called “A New Playmate” and it looks like it is about a dog.  The other one is called “Sally Squirrel’s Wish.”  It looks like it is about a wish made by a squirrel named Sally.  I have not read them yet, though, so I can’t be sure.  Mom says you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.  We will see if she is right.  I will review them after I read them.

Maybe Dharma will get here before I read them, and we can read and review them together.  I will keep waiting with everlasting patience….

    Hi, Sassy!

Are you in the mail yet? I hope Dharma will like playing Star Wars vs. Super Friends with me. If not, you can play it with me when you get here. I will even let you choose if you want to be the good guys or the bad guys. Love, Noah
