Today’s Fortune: Happy news is on its way to you.

Another great fortune!!  I can’t wait to see what happy news I get next!   It seems like happy news just follows me around.  I got lots of happy news over the last week or so.   It all came in the mailbox.

First, I got some wonderful yarn from our friend Deborah.  Deborah is from a wonderful magical place called yarnmarket.com.  Yarn Market has every kind of yarn you can think of, plus they also have patterns, books, kits, needles and hooks.  They probably have everything in the Yarniverse there!   Deborah  sent me some soft and squishy yarn called “Colinette Jitterbug”.  The color is called “Monet.”  I did not know that Monet was a color.  I thought he was an artist.

Mom says this yarn is not for me.  She says it is for a special project.  I think she is wrong, though.  I think Deborah wanted me to have it, because  Monet is my very favorite color.   Thank you, Deborah!!

I was still hugging on my squishy new yarn when I got a package from my Auntie Pam!!  She is not really my Aunt,  but I call her that, because she is way better than most Aunties out there.  She sent me two new pezzes for my collection!  These ones are extra-special.  They are fuzzy, and they came with chocolate pez candies, which I had never seen.  They also came with clips on the tops of them.  Mom says those are called “carabiners”.  That means that I can hook them onto my red tote bag that holds my crayons and pez pictures, and they can go everywhere with me.

Auntie Pam also sent me some very cool monkey stickers.  They are made of felt.  There is a brown monkey, some bananas, and a sign that says, “Bananas.”  I am not sure what I will stick them to, yet.  They are very special, so I will have to find just the right thing to use them on.  Thank you Auntie Pam!!!

Sending and receiving presents is about the most fun I can think of.  I am so glad we have such good friends.
