Hangin’ With My Peeps. . .
Today’s Fortune: Traveling to the east will bring you great rewards.
That fortune is definitely coming true!! Big Truck Tacos is east of us, and we are going there for dinner tonight. Today is Saint Patrick’s day. Mom says you have to wear green on Saint Patrick’s day, or you will get pinched. We do not like getting pinched, so I am wearing my John Deere Tractor hat. Dharma’s hair ribbons were getting kind of frazzled, so Mom gave her all new ribbons in lime green! She looks so beautiful!
Things have been very busy around here. Mom brought me home a bunch of new friends the other day, and I have been trying to protect them from Dad. They are my peeps, and they are very cute.
I have given them all names. The blue bunnies are named John, Paul, George and Ringo. The green and yellow chickens are named Winkin’, Blinkin’ and Nod; Eenie, Meenie, Miney, and Moe; and Bobby, Peter and Greg. The pink bunnies are Cindy, Jan, Marsha, and Joe Bob.
I was hoping that if they all had names, Dad would not want to eat them, but that doesn’t seem to have made a difference, so I have assigned guard dog duty to Puglet and Walter. They have promised to bark really loud if Dad tries to eat my Peeps.
I also used my magnet letters to put a note on the fridge with my magnetic personality, but I did not have enough letters to spell “Dad.” I hope he will know who it is for.
I want to let them out of their packages so they can have some fun, but until Dad promises not to eat them, I am keeping them safe. I hope Dad gets the message.

Monkey Dad
Please?

Hi, Dad!
No. No. No. No. No. You cannot eat my peeps. Mom says she will get you some at the store, and that you need to leave mine alone.

Noah,
I hope you and Dharma had fun at Big Truck Tacos! Did you eat plenty of leprechaun green guacamole?
They shouldn’t make Peeps so cute if they are supposed to be eaten. It’s just not right.
Your Pal,
Big Monkey

Hi, Big Monkey!
We had a great time at BTT! They had green chips and green queso! It was really good.
Mom bought Dad two packages of his own peeps, so he could eat them. We will not watch this. We did not name those peeps. We feel sorry for them, but at least Dad will leave my peeps alone.
Love, Noah
